Updated: Jul 21, 2020
"Doctor Who: Resistance" was a semi-professional fan production made in 2013 with kind permission from BBC Worldwide.
Originally an audio-book produced by Big Finish Productions and written by well-known British author Steve Lyons and is set in the South of France during the German Occupation in World War II, and involves the exploits of the French Resistance along the 'evasion line'.
The film was shot around the Perth Hills area; with locations ranging from the W.A. Rail Heritage Museum in Bassendean, Padbury House in Guildford, and private agricultural properties in both the Swan Valley and Gidgegannup, and features local and up and coming talent in both fields of acting and production.
